Day school Grants
JEIC invests resources in implementing and scaling proven models developed by our grantees or HaKaveret Design Team in schools. We also remain interested in experimenting with exciting ideas and out-of-the-box constructs, which schools suggest.
To catalyze change across the field we will continue to support creativity through mini-grants. As of September 2018, the Day School Challenge offers Ignition Grants up to $15,000 to jump-start new and/or to continue recently-established innovative programs that improve Jewish education in day schools.
Proposals for Ignition Grants are accepted at any time during the year. JEIC staff will contact applicants to acknowledge receipt and will inform them of the status and outcome of their application within six months of receipt. Grant decisions typically will be made in July and January.
