JEIC Managing Director Sharon Freundel and the heads of school from several JEIC-affiliated institutions — Rabbi Avery Joel, EdD, Fuchs Mizrachi School; Adam Englander, HALB Elementary School; David Block, Shalhevet High School; Daniel Alter, The Moriah School — were invited to participate in the recent Tradition Summit. At this by-invitation-only event, co-sponsored by the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education & Administration and the Rabbinical Council of America, six scholarly papers authored on the summit's theme—historical and current methodologies in Jewish education—were reviewed. Thanks to the meaningful contributions and presentations from both JEIC and its partner school leaders, these papers will now be revised for publication in an upcoming issue of Tradition: A Journal of Orthodox Jewish Thought.

The involvement of JEIC and its network of educational leaders underscores the pivotal role JEIC plays in advocating for God-Centered and Student-Centered Learning and shaping the dialogue around Jewish day school education.
