The 2017 Innovators Retreat, Oases of Change, took place in Boston on May 17-18. Nearly 100 stakeholders from all over the country joined together to reimagine Jewish education in Jewish Day Schools. We announced our 2017 grantees, received updates from previous grantees, and explored the HaKaveret Design models.

This year, we launched the HaKaveret Team Challenge. We pulled together an innovation design team of highly talented and motivated individuals for a facilitated, year-long creative process.

2017 Grantees
We introduced our 2017 Grantees, Fuchs-Mizrachi School in Beachwood, OH and Akiba-Schechter Jewish Day School in Chicago, IL. Each will receive a $50,000 grant, paid out over the next two years to assist in the development of their programs.
