A year ago, JEIC and OpenDor Media's Unpacked for Educators set out to spark new conversations in Jewish classrooms with a 10-part video series on Jewish spirituality. The series dives into Jewish tradition and teachings that can infuse daily life with greater understanding, connection, and meaning.
After piloting the series in eight diverse schools—Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School, Bruriah High School For Girls, Fuchs Mizrachi School, Ida Crown Jewish Academy, Maimonides School, Oakland Hebrew Day School, Pressman Academy of Temple Beth Am, and The Weber School—we’re seeing powerful results: students report deeper connections to Jewish tradition and meaning in their lives, while teachers feel more confident guiding these big discussions.
